Child psychologist Mike Painter returns home to investigate the 1988 murder of his twin brother. A kids' TV show may be the clue - when it airs again after 30 years, another child disappears.

After what happened to Katie, Marla agrees to help Mike investigate the murders. But Marla is horrified to learn a secret about what happened in 1988 that's been hidden since that time.
